Blogger Interview Series #15 – With Adya

I’m so glad to be presenting this interview with Aadhya from Adya’s Diary. She is a teen blogger like me and she will truly inspire you by her blog!

1) Can you tell the readers about yourself and your blog?

My name is Aadhya. I am a tween lifestyle blogger from British Columbia, Canada. I love to read, write, sing, dance, listen to music, and try new activities! I am a major dog person. In my free time, I work on my small fundraising project. I make greeting cards and sell them, the money I make goes to the charities I support.
On my blog, I write about my experiences, thoughts, school, current situations and other things (even if it’s random).

2) Do you follow any blogging schedule?

When I first started blogging, I posted once a week. That was when school was online; we were in quarantine and I had a bit more time. When school started face-to-face classes in September, I got busier with school and started to post once every two weeks, but I plan to go back to once every week over the summer holidays.

3) Where did you get the inspiration of starting your blog?

True story: I needed something to distract me from chaotic times last year. Then I did a web development course online, for which I had to create a website using WP. I was instantly happy to find a place where I could release my thoughts. So, I guess this is where I got my inspiration from.

4) What is one thing you regret about your blog?

Actually, up until now, I don’t really know what I regret about my blog. I mean, I could change the theme, but that’s not something I regret.

5) Which person do you want to meet in real life more than anyone else?

Tate McRae. She is a Canadian singer and dancer who came second place in an American dance reality.

6) What is your favourite food?

My favourite food is quiche with spinach, bacon and cheese. You can have it for any meal! That makes it the best!

7) What are some of your long-term blogging goals?

Long-term blogging requires patience, dedication and proper planning. I want to build a brand, increase the traffic on my blog, and use it for public awareness on many different topics (like my posts on wearing masks, anti-bullying and peer pressure). I will monetize my blog, and the money I get from views will go to charities I support. (I guess this is a bit ambitious, but who knows)
